It's so refreshing to see everyone decked up in suits and dresses! Everyone looked fabulous! The fund-raising event was held in Hachinohe Grand Hotel. When I arrived, I was pleased to see some of the HIRA ladies like Kaoru, Kaoru's husband's sister and Yumiko. The first drink was on the house. Champagne... Oh it was good.... Haven't had champagne for a while now...
Soon the event started & everyone started gambling with their play money. I just watched others play since I don't even know how to play Black Jack properly! So I spent my play money on drinks and the auction stuff. There were all sorts of stuff on auction: bath sets, plates, jewellery, restaurant & movie vouchers and American brand snacks & beverages etc. I placed bids on a set of necklace with earrings and a set of rabbit motif Japanese plates. I got them at 650 yen and 500 yen respectively. What a steal!
The night ended with everyone going to the second party at a bar with a dance floor. We took this chance to let loose & shake our booties even though the music sucked... It was really fun though!
