Hachinohe International Relations organised a welcome lunch for us at Baikingu
so we all went. It was buffet style teppanyaki and was pretty cheap. Somehow, Japanese people do not eat a lot... I went for several helpings.. Hee, typical Singaporean eh? There was ice-cream too! Yummy!
After lunch, I finally went to the beach! Since Wade & I stay close to each other, we took a train from Konakano train station and met the rest at the beach. Yes, I got to see the Pacific Ocean! It's beautiful! The waves were pretty high and there were quite a few guys surfing. Reminds me of Aussie's beaches... The weather was perfect for a day out at the beach. We burried Ricky in the sand just for fun! Everybody had a great time!
